For riders looking to streamline the look of their BMW R1300GS and shed some weight, removing the passenger footrest mounts is a solid option—provided they never ride with a pillion. The downside? Losing a convenient spot to secure luggage straps. That’s where the Perun moto BMW R1300GS Tie-down brackets come in.
Installation is straight forward and all mounting hardware is included. For detailed instructions please click HERE. Since exhaust attaches to OEM passenger footrest brackets, please keep in mind that BMW silencer hanger bracket (part number 46717108002) is needed in order to install our Tie-down brackets.
Made from CNC-milled aircraft-grade aluminum, these brackets are strong but lightweight. The inner edges of the slots are rounded to prevent excessive strap wear, helping them last longer. No more frayed or weakened straps after a few rides.
Their low-profile design means they sit neatly inside the bike’s frame, keeping them out of the way whether you’re standing on the pegs or moving around on rough terrain.
Tie-down brackets are angled to stay out of the way, even when riding aggressively. You won’t feel them or have to work around them - they just do their job quietly in the background.
The slots are angled to work with various rack-less luggage systems, offering optimal strap positions for a secure hold. No awkward angles, no shifting loads - just a setup that works. We have tested these with several rack-less setups from Mosko moto, Giant loop and Enduristan.
Check out this short video to see how our Tie-Down Brackets fit on the big boxer.
Ultimate goal of Tie-down brackets is to make luggage setup simpler, more secure, and less of a hassle. Whether you're packing for a weekend trip or a serious adventure, they’re a small upgrade that makes a difference.
