QuadLock phone mount on Ducati DesertX

Perun moto offers a simple, sturdy and affordable solution for installing the phone above the dash of Ducati DesertX - Ducati DesertX GPS R12 Mount with R12 Bar clamp AMPS. This setup works great with various GPS units, but it also works great with the QuadLock cases. 

At the moment, I use Samsung Galaxy S22, but any phone with the QuadLock case will work well. 

This is the QuadLock hardware I use to fix the phone on Perun moto R12 Bar clamp AMPS:

1. QuadLock Weatherproof Wireless charger head and

2. QuadLock Flat rectangle 4-hole base.

Flat rectangle 4-hole base uses the same bolt pattern as our R12 Bar clamp AMPS, so 4 x M4x12 or M4x15 countersunk bolts are all it takes to fix it.

In order to make room for the USB plug on the underside of Wireless charger head, I had to use a spacer (included with the Rectangular base). If you use standard QuadLock Lever Head, you don't need the spacer. 

Once the Base is installed, Weatherproof Wireless charger head is bolted to it, with one bolt. 

It is pushed few cm towards the rider, for easy reach. Mind that if you use QuadLock Lever Head instead of QuadLock Weatherproof Wireless charger head, you can leave the spacer out so phone will sit closer to the windscreen.

This Head has a USB-A connector, which plugs right into the USB plug on the LHS of the dash. 

Also, wiring it directly to the battery is possible if QuadLock Waterproof 12V To USB Smart Adaptor is used. 

Phone fits very well. Angle and the height can be easily adjusted, to fit everyone. 

And the clean look is kept.
