Haul loop on DesertX - grab handle replacement

Update August 2023 - we updated the side supports of our Top luggage rack. New side supports are now compatible with Ducati Aux rear fuel tank. All info from this blog post is still accurate, as only side supports are changed - everything else remained the same and Haul loops fit even better.

Our Ducati DesertX Top Luggage rack has a large cut-out enabling access to the stock rear grab handle. This works great, unless something is strapped to the rear rack. Then access to the stock grab handle is obstructed. 

For these cases, and for easy picking up the bike in a case of off-road nap, I recommend using something like Kriega Rear Haul Loop. Other manufacturers have similar products, I am very happy with Kriega's.

Strapped to the slots on the side supports of our Top luggage rack, it is very useful. And it remains low profile and out of the way if you wish to carry larger bags or rack-less systems over it. Note that edges on our products are chamferred and they will not cut the straps.
