OEM mini side racks with Perun moto DesertX Top luggage rack

UPDATE AUGUST 2023 - we changed the design of stainless steel side supports for our rack. New Side supports are compatible with Ducati Aux rear fuel tank and they have a lower profile. Accordingly, this blog post isn't 100% accurate anymore - but these Ducati OEM mini side rack should fit even better, due to lower profile of Perun moto rear top rack side supports.

With it's rack-less luggage system, Ducati includes mini side racks. If you like this system, no worries - these mini side racks work well with Perun moto Ducati DesertX Top luggage rack. 

Ducati delivers four M8x16 allen head bolts and two small spacers. In order to fit these racks with Perun moto Top luggage rack, you won't need these. But you will need to source some additional hardware - two M8x30 and two M8x40 allen head bolts and two 9 mm spacers (not supplied with Perun moto rack!).

Just use 9 mm spacers in the front, between the bike and side racks. And in the rear, mount side racks on top of Perun moto side supports. 

And that's it. 

You can use Ducati soft luggage or some other, like this SW-Motech soft bags.
