Aprilia Tuareg 660 has zero storage space under the seat. This means you need to have some kind of bag to pack essentials for the ride. Tank bags and backpacks work for some riders. However, I'm not a fan of using either so other options are needed. Mosko moto Reckless 10 falls into category of being large enough to take what's needed, yet being small enough to be unnoticeable while riding.
I have been using this setup for day rides over past month or so and see no need to change. Obviously, weekend and longer rides will require bigger luggage.
The bike has Perun moto Aprilia Tuareg 660 Top luggage rack and Tie-down brackets installed. Top rack comes with several pre-drilled holes meant for installation of the Mosko moto Gnoblin.
Using the Gnoblin speeds up installation and removal of the bags (once you have found the desired position). Having several holes on the rack enables fore-aft position adjustment of the bags. I like having them as far forward as possible, without the bag influencing my movements on the bike.
For riders who don't use the Gnoblin, installing the Reckless 10 with straps is always an option. Chamfered edges of slots on our Top luggage rack are strap friendly.
There are several slots which can be used. Biggest pro of using the straps is the ability to adjust position of the Reckless 10 "on the fly". Other photos in this blog post show the bags mounted with the Gnoblin. No matter which mounting method is used, it's easy to achieve desired position.
Lower straps are secured to Perun moto Aprilia Tuareg Tie-down brackets. These are designed as a low profile replacement for passenger foot rest brackets, meant to work with various rack-less luggage systems. And again, all edges are chamfered and strap friendly.
As said, the bags are moved as far forward as it makes sense. In this position RHS bag is far enough from the silencer. Still, having a heat shield is a good precaution.
Base of the Reckless 10 has enough rigidity to prevent the bags from bouncing up and down on rough trails.
This is a narrow setup. The bags are tucked behind rider's legs.
This short video gives an overview of mounting options and fitment of Mosko moto Reckless 10 on Aprilia Tuareg equipped with Perun moto Aprilia Tuareg 660 Top luggage rack and Tie-down brackets.
And here are a couple more photos showing the bags from various angles.
