Kriega US-40 Rackpack on Ducati DesertX

Kriega US-40 Rackpack is a versatile tail bag. It is fully waterproof, size can be adjusted and there are mounting points to add external bags or pockets. With roll-top closure at both ends it is easier to reach the things you need. US-40 fits perfectly on a Ducati DesertX and it's a great choice for extended road trips.

The bike is equipped with Perun moto Ducati DesertX Top luggage rack. The rack has two slots in the front, and two in the rear, which are primarily designed and placed with Kriega US-40 in mind.

Installation of the bag is simple. Pass the G-hook straps trough the slots on the rack, hook one end to the loop on the US-40, and buckle up the other end. Strapped like this, the bag is secure and doesn't move. Chamfered edges of the Top luggage rack mean the straps are safe from damage even after prolonged use.

This type of strapping, with G-hooks, works best when the bag is full and compacted well. If US-40 is used closer to empty it is better to use regular cam-buckle or Rok straps.
