Kriega US-30 Drypack on Husqvarna 701 Enduro

As the largest bag in Kriega's Drypack lineup, US-30 is a viable option for weekend trips without camping when you don't want to carry side bags. It suits the Husqvarna 701 beautifully.

Kriega US-30 has a relatively large footprint. Perun moto Husqvarna 701 Luggage rack follows slim lines of the 701's rear end, making it too narrow for bags of this size. To offer optimal support for the bag, we recommend adding our Extension plate.

Mounting the US-30 to Extension plate is simple. Four Kriega OS-Rack loops are installed on the underside of the Extension plate and serve as anchorage points for G-hook straps. To make the upper surface completely flush, we're using countersunk M6 bolts (these have to be sourced separately, they are not standard part of Kriega OS-Rack loops). There is no need to overtighten these bolts, Hypalon loops should rotate freely. To prevent OS-Rack loops from falling off (happens usually when riding without a bag installed), use a flat washer and M6 nylock nut on the underside. Or, if this will be your permanent setup, add a drop of mild thread lock to all the bolts.

With OS-Rack loops installed and G-hook straps attached to them, it's only a matter of buckling up G-hook straps into the buckles on the US-30.

To achieve the best stability, we suggest mounting the US-30 across the Extension plate as shown in this article. Longitudinal mounting is also possible, but keep in mind that the bag will then cover fuel cap.
