Perun moto BMW R1300GS Tie-down brackets - Installation Instructions

These Tie-down brackets are designed for BMW R1300GS.

Content of the kit

• 2 x Tie-down bracket 

• 4 x M8 washer - small

• 2 x M8x60 buttonhead bolt

• 2 x R16x10 Spacer

NOTE:

BMW silencer hanger bracket (part number 46717108002) is needed in order to install our Tie-down brackets.

Installation

1. Remove the bolt holding the silencer. 

2. Remove the RHS passenger foot rest bracket by removing two bolts marked below.

3. Reuse OEM bolt and metal spacer/washer to install silencer hanger. Leave the bolt hand tight for now.

4. Use provided spacers, M8 bolts and flat washers to install Perun moto tie-down bracket. Photo below shows correct order of the parts: silencer bracket, spacer, Tie-down bracket, flat washer. Torque to 12-15 Nm.

5. Tighten the bolt marked below. Torque to 12-15 Nm.

6. Remove the LHS passenger foot rest bracket by removing two bolts.

7. Reuse existing bolts and add provided M8 flat washers to install Perun moto Tie-down bracket. Torque to 10-12 Nm.

8. Check the bolts and re-torque to the spec if needed after several rides.
