Perun moto KTM 690 Enduro Luggage rack has pre-drilled holes for Rotopax mount. Since threaded holes on Rotopax mounts are on the bottom of the mount, Perun moto rack has to be loosened up or removed so Rotopax mount can be bolted to the rack. For riders that are mounting and dismounting Rotopax mount often, this can be annoying.
Recently our friend David shared few photos showing how he solved the problem, following example of fellow rider from Portugal. He countersunk holes on top of Rotopax mount, for M6 countersunk bolts.
Then he used steel 12.9 M6x70 countersunk bolts to bolt Rotopax mount from above.
He used washers and safety nut.
This way it's much easier to remove and install Rotopax mount and there is no need to loosen or remove Perun moto rack before it, since there is enough space below the rack to place washers and nut.
David, thanks for photos!
