Mosko moto Reckless 40 system fits on KTM 690 Enduro like a glove. This kind of luggage is great for this mid sized adventure bike for several reasons. Capacity is good. Luggage hugs the bike, so mass is centralized. Bags act as a cushion in case of fall.
Reckless 40 fit on 2019 bike even better than on previous model years, as new bike has wider tank and geometry of the tail section is different. When Reckless 40's are fitted to 2019 bike, there is still some room left on the luggage rack, perfect for some light luggage, like tent or sleeping bag, or both.
Here is how Mosko moto Reckless 40 fits 2019 KTM 690 Enduro with our new 2019+ KTM 690 Enduro Luggage rack and our well established Heel guards.
First, we fitted bags as close to the front of the bike as it makes sense. This way, mass is very centralized. Still enough room for riders butt. Exhaust is cleared, even without heat shield, as bags sit on side fairings completely. And there is a lot of room left on the luggage rack, for even more luggage.
Than, we moved the bags as much to the back as it makes sense. Tail of the bike is long and it stretches far to the back. Bags can't be fitted all the way to the back, as there is nothing to support sides of Reckless 40. But bags can be fitted so they clear the seat almost entirely. Even than, there is some space left on the luggage rack, for more luggage. Setup like this, heat shield is a must, as bags are slightly touching exhaust.
Video showing bags in rear most position.
I will mostly use bags in first position, closer to the rider. I usually don't carry middle bag (under beaver tail) so nothing should interfere with my but on steep downhills. When I will be carrying more luggage, I will use bags in second position, but with middle bag installed.
