Afica Twin Luggage rack developement

We are currently working on Luggage rack plate for Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin. Here is our last prototype, now it is close to final version.

For folks riding alone, there will be an option to mount it in 3 longitudinal positions, in 20 mm increments. This way mass of the luggage can be moved towards rider, improving handling of the bike.

There will be pre-drilled holes for Givi Monokey aluminum top cases. Also, there will be an option to mount Rotopax cans, it will be even possible to mount two 1 gallon cans next to each other.

It will be made of 5 mm aluminum, but with many slots and openings for reducing the weight, so it will be less than 1.3 kg including mounting hardware. Off course, all edges will be chamfered on CNC mills, so there will be no sharp edges. 

It needs more testing and some tweaking, but we will soon make our first production batch.
