Perun moto KTM 690 Luggage rack was meant to be slick luggage rack that blends with silhouette of the bike. Its purpose is to carry small soft bags, i.e. Kriega US-5 or US-10 bags and/or Rotopax 1 gallon fuel can. Therefore, dimensions of top surface of the rack are not too generous - approx. 192 mm (W) x 198 mm (L), just enough for what is meant for.
Some fellow riders suggested that it may be useful to have larger top surface, so bigger bags could be strapped to it, so I start making some drawings.
But first, word of advice - carrying larger items needs to be done with some precaution, because although rack itself is very strong, whole setup is as strong as its weakest link and in this case that is mounting points where rack is bolted to threaded inserts moulded in plastic tank. Those inserts are very shallow and cant carry significant weight. But due to factory recommendation and to experience from the field, everything should be ok, even on long rough rides, if weight is kept around or bellow 5-7 kilograms, maybe something above that. For short distances, or for road rides (tarmac) weight of the luggage can go up, but don't push it.
After preaching, here is the product - Extension plate for Perun moto KTM 690 Enduro/SMC Luggage rack.
There are predrilled holes on Perun moto KTM 690 Luggage rack, so mounting extension plate is just matter of minutes and it doesn't require dismounting luggage rack - just use provided 4 countersunk bolts, washers and nuts and that's it. Extension plate is made out of 4 mm aluminium sheet (AlMg3) and 10.9 steel zinc coated counter sunk bolts and safety nuts are used, so it is very solid connection.
All slots from Luggage rack are aligned with slots on extension plate, so straps fit right through. Also, this extension plate can be used with older Perun moto KTM 690 Enduro/SMC Luggage racks, ones with button head bolts instead of countersunk ones on the top surface, because free space above those bolts.
Also, space for Rotopax mount is pre-cut, so Rotopax can be easily mounted.
Try not to ride the bike with rotopax mount and without canister mounted. Mount sticks out and it can make some damage in case of fall.
Anyway, extension plate is designed for carrying bigger, bulkier, but not too heavy bags. Its still not too big, and it blends with design of the bike. Top surface is approx. 260 mm (W) x 222 (L). Still not too big for Kriega US-10 and big enough for Kriega US-20 or similar sized bags.

Due to many slots, this extension plate can be used in numerous ways, those shown here are just for example.
